Well here I am once again. I have been offline for the past 18 days and a lot have transpired include been slapped by Google and monetize privileges taken away. Need to check with them and see what is the problem with my AdSense program. One thing that hasn't changed is that people are still getting ripped off from these websites that are claiming that people can and are making mad money from Google AdSense. The fact remains that as long as there are thousands of new people logging unto the Internet for the first time the DARKSIDE will get over and people will lose their harm earned cash. HOW TO STOP THE SCAMMERS USING PAYPAL SECURE CARD

Are you leary of using your credit card on the internet to pay for your purchase because you believe that you will be scammed? Or perhaps you don't have a credit card and want to purchase something online and they are requesting a credit card number. Be of good cheer because I have discovered that Paypal has rode in to the rescue with thier Secure Card plug in for your browser that was introduced. almost two years ago

Here is how the plug in works. PayPal, a web service that lets you send/receive online payments has launched a windows based browser plugin that provides you easy access to the secure card service. Once you become a member or if you are already a member of PayPal they allows you to link your credit card number or your bank account to your PayPal account) within your browser.

To install the plugin, simply login to your PayPal account and select PayPal plugin from the menu. You'll be prompted to download a 5MB file which will install the plugin for both Internet Explorer and Firefox. A “P” icon will then be populated in your browser once installed then a window pops up whenever you visit a site for online purchasing and you’re asked for credit card information. When a payment needs to be made, the user clicks a download PayPal radio button within the browser. This action populates your name and address and then generates a unique transaction number that can only be used once. Since this is a one time use number there is never a need to worry about future charges to your account. The transaction number is possible due to a deal done with finance company MasterCard. The site taking the payment sees the transaction as just a MasterCard payment, but the user gets to use their secure PayPal account instead of divulging actual credit card details.

Today I want to talk about e-books. In a nut nutshell eBooks help solve problems and give out pertinent information on a subject you are knowledgeable about. I just read an article by the great blogger Ethan Evans and he made a profound statement that "The People Who Make The MOST Money... All Have Their Own Products!" It okay to push other people products through affiliate programs on your site but nothing beats owning your own product and keeping 100% of the profits. THERE IS A LEARNING CURVE TO BE GOOD AT GOOGLE ADSENSE

For the last couple of days I have been perusing and reading Google AdSense help forum and I am beginning to see a common theme. A good majority of the persons entering the AdSense world have not done their homework before entering the program and have little or no idea what they have gotten into. It appears that many people are falling for the Mary Steadman scam about a lady in Florida making $5000.00 with different picture on different sites. Once again I have to shout it" GOOGLE ADSENSE PROGRAM IS FREE!! Individuals are getting ripped off left and right when they don't have too. All the scam sites are saying you can make $787, etc in one day and a host of other fabrications and separating individuals from their hard earned cash. One topic that has garnered the most answers is "Is Google affiliated with any business kit, paid package (etc.)?" The answer is NO! NO! and NO! I would admonish anyone that wants to participate in the Google AdSense program that they should go to www.google.com/adsense and read all the information that is contained there to get a better working understanding of the program. As I read more and more each day about the Adsense program I am convinced that real money can be made from the program but it is WORK and you have to learn how to direct traffic to your site and write great and original content. You probably have never seen this disclaimer before or if you have it was at the bottom of the page and so small you could not read it. After reading this on one website I got to thinking (The only people making money with those programs are the ones selling the programs) so I broke out my calculator and started playing with the numbers that was in their favor. Using Google AdSense CPM (Impressions per 1000) ads, these fakers can pay about $2 - $10 for that feature and get their ads in front of 1000 people. Let just say that they have a budget of $100 for this ad campaign and it cost then $5 per CPM that means they can get their ad in front of 20,000 people. If they are selling their program for $49.99 and only 1000 people (5%) respond and purchased the program then they have made $49,990.00 easily without even breaking a sweat. WOW!!! If that was me I would take those odds any day. Spend $100and make $10 less that $50K. – where do I sign up. That is a conservative number and it gets crazier if they get a higher percentage of response or their CPM cost go down. Those my friends are Vegas odds. Don't get me wrong some of those programs probably have merit but be honest. How many of those programs actually worked as advertised? I'm willing to bet NONE. If they had worked, you wouldn't be reading this - you would be on one of the beaches of Florida, Hawaii or Jamaica sipping something out of a coconut shell with a little umbrella sticking out of it. Since embarking on this project I have discovered that making money on the internet through Google AdSense are is not as easy a lot of these site making it to be. It requires a substantial amount of work and reading and some technical acumen to set up your blog or website so that it attractive and filled with relevant content so that you can attract visitors to your site to interact with you. So, my big question to you is: If you saw this disclaimer in readable text in the beginning of these ads would you participate? I know your answer so I admonish you to do your homework before purchasing.

AFFILIATE PROGRAMS - ANOTHER WAY TO MAKE MONEY ON THE INTERNET

For the past few days I have been talking about Google array of tools such as AdSense, AdWords and Webmaster tools as a legitimate way to make money on the Internet. The best part about this process is that all this information is FREE and can be access at the Google website that is fully documented. Another great way to make more Internet income is by joining an AFFILIATE program. So what are affiliate programs you may ask? Good questions and in a nutshell affiliate programs are also called associate programs, and is an arrangement between a merchant site and a personal site in which an online merchant Web site is linked up to your web site and pays your (affiliate) Web sites a commission to send them traffic and in the process purchase merchandise or services from them. My short answer is you're the MIDDLE MAN for the merchant. These affiliate Web sites post links to the merchant site and are paid according to a particular agreement after filling out an online application to become a member and then getting approved by the merchant. For the most part the application will ask for some personal information (name, address, payment method) and information on your site (URL, name, and description of content) and will have you agree to a service agreement. Happy 4th of July to all and hope you had a great day eating and enjoying the fireworks in your community.After one week of being accepted into the Google AdSense program and daily updates to this blog I have made a grand total of $4.71. Nothing to shout about but at least it is a start and I can truly say that you can make money through AdSense but once again I have discovered that there is more to it than having AdSense ads on your site. One of the main issues new internet entrepreneurs will discover is that they have to drive traffic to their site and Google has specific rules about how to accomplish this without running afoul of their policies and getting terminated from the program. To help accomplish this Google has a free program called Webmaster Tools that is geared to help and can be accessed by going to Google webmaster tools. If you can generate the right amount of traffic to your site then there is a good possibility that you will generate a steady income from the clicks on your site. I ended yesterday’s posting talking about CONTENT being king in the new Internet economy and I also pulled a new book off of my shelf and started reading it and is tittled “Get Content, Get Customers” - Turn Prospects into Buyers with Content Marketing, by Joe Pulizzi and Newt Barrett and this is what they said about content. “Content marketing is the art of understanding exactly what your customers need to know and delivering it to them in a relevant and compelling way.” One of the best and most compelling way of delivering content on Google is the use of Google AdWords. For the last couple of days I have been speaking about Google AdSense but just as important is the use of Google AdWords as they work hand in hand. The AdWords program is also free to join and can greatly enhance how much your commission will be. The secret of Google AdSense pay structure is determined every time someone clicks on the ads which are determined by AdWords. AdWords is the other side of AdSense. One of the little known secret is that some AdWords can produce high per-click payment as much as a $100. By knowing what the highest paying keywords are you can choose to write your blog on that topic and thus the ads generated on your blog or webpage would produce a higher click payout every time someone clicks on ad on your page.

Yesterday I mention that your total start–up cost is not $0 and although it is free to join the Google AdSense program there will be at least a basic monthly fee for hosting your site plus the added cost of your domain name which is the way you will be located on the WWW.
If you are part of the non-technical crowd and this information and technical jargon seems way out there then welcome to the club. .The majority of the advertisements on the internet that are stating that anyone can make hundred and thousands of $$$$ assume wrongly that the average person has a basic understanding of the Google business model of advertising through Google AdSense. I believe that these advertisers are banking on the naivity and greed of the readers who see dollars signs and what appears like an easy way to make money, and without doing due diligence get ripped off in the process. What they fail to state is that in order to participate in Google AdSense you first need a blog or website, and then you must comply with Google program policies and eligibility criteria, and it is only then that you can complete their online application. They'll review your application and follow up with an email within about a week, depending on the volume of applications they receive. If you are accepted into the program, you can sign into your new account and get the HTML code that will display ads on your blog or webpages after you have it embedded into your site.
The text in your blog or website is the tool that drives the ads that are displayed, as the Google tool called a spider crawls the site for relevant words to place the proper ads based on the content and thus induce the reader to click on the ads posted. The owner of the site has no control over what type of ads are placed on the page and therefore cannot project what their earnings will be. So remember content is key.

WHAT'S THE REAL COST IN STARTING? IT'S NOT $0

Google the words 'making money on the Internet through blogs' and one will get over 141,000,000 hits and growing. For the most part a majority of the ads purport to says that you can make money by just starting a blog or creating a website and then adding some Google AdSense code to your site and off you go making money. BUT!!! Few explain the upfront and/or preliminary behind the scene work that must be done or that it cost money to start making money and exactly how much it will cost to start up so I am going to give a running total of all I spend and all I recoup as I go along with some of the left out steps. One main theme I am discovering is that everyone one wants you to buy their systems for a small sum, or resort to the bait and switch. That is; They give you a little info and entice you to spot up your credit card for $2.00 and then 7 to 10 days later they charge your card $50 or more. Here is my running total so far starting with $159 for the http://www.chritianmoney.com/ coaching system, (which is the best I’ve found so far), $33.00 for my website and domain name, and a recurring $8.95 per month for website hosting using SmartSpace™ all at www.godaddy.com. Take note that before I even established an Internet presence I was already in the hole for about $200. One site I visited even had this disclaimer that they posted in USA Today newspaper, “Everything you’ll need to make fast money on Google guaranteed: Your Cost = $0. In just a few minutes a day XYZ Company will show you how to earn $99 - $375 per day working from home!” But when you click on their START MAKING MONEY TODAY flashing symbol you are redirected to fill out a survey to see if you qualify (everyone qualifies - what a joke) then they hit you up with the proverbial bait and switch I mentioned above. So much for their claims of “Your Cost = $0.” I have been at this for a little over a week and I have discovered since then that if all you are interested in doing is blogging then you can go to http://www.blogger.com/ and get a free account but you should view a few YouTube clips called “blogging blunders by Andy Wibbels at www.bloggingblunders.com to really count the cost. My Google AdSense account was approved on 29 June but was first unaccepted because your website or blogsite has to be active and not under construction in order to be accepted into the program.
